Why Plano grocery stores lose money on delivery today
- • Third-party marketplaces skim double-digit commissions from every basket
- • Shoppers are lost to whichever app owns the customer relationship
- • Delivery drivers idle in your lot during peak hours
Plano sits on the US-75 Central Expressway corridor, in Collin County. Ground routes fight that corridor every trip; a drone flies straight over it.
Drone-eligible payloads
- • Eggs, dairy and produce top-ups
- • Baby formula and diapers
- • Coffee and cold drinks
- • Prepared deli items
- • Household staples under 5 lbs
