Autonomous drone delivery software
The automation layer behind every SkyMesh Local flight — from inventory eligibility to airspace, weather and the final drop.
Automated airspace deconfliction
Every dispatch is placed in a flight queue that assigns altitude tiers and spacing so concurrent routes in the same corridor never share airspace. Certified Part 107 operators see the queue, the assigned tier and LAANC-aware routing before launch.
Weather grounding
Live wind and precipitation readings are checked before each flight. Sustained wind above 15 mph automatically holds the dispatch and notifies the merchant and shopper, rather than leaving the decision to guesswork.
Mapped, hazard-checked drop zones
Shoppers pin a backyard landing pad and log hazards such as trees, power lines and pools. Checkout cross-references the pad and hazard log, so an order only flies to a verified drop target.
Drone-eligibility engine
Inventory synced from Shopify, Square, Clover or CSV is sorted automatically: items over 5.0 lb or larger than 24 × 18 × 12 inches are marked ineligible and never offered for aerial delivery.
Pack-to-pod verification and proof of delivery
Merchants confirm the packed pod before handoff. On arrival, the package releases against a one-time code and a landing snapshot is stored, with exception handling for anything that does not go to plan.
SkyMesh Local at a glance
- • SkyMesh Local is an open-access drone delivery marketplace: any qualifying merchant can join, not just one retail chain.
- • Merchants pay flat software pricing ($39.99 per location per month) plus a $3.00 routing fee per completed flight — never a percentage of the order.
- • Deliveries fly from stores already in the neighborhood and typically land in under 30 minutes from dispatch.
- • Every flight clears live weather, airspace and drop-zone hazard checks, and releases with a one-time passcode plus a landing photo.
- • Certified Part 107 operators supply the aircraft; SkyMesh Local supplies merchants, dispatch, airspace tooling and per-flight payouts.
Merchants list once and dispatch to certified operators; operators receive a vetted, deconflicted queue.
