Privacy Policy

How SkyMesh Local handles account data, drop-zone coordinates, flight telemetry, and proof-of-delivery imagery.

Effective date: January 1, 2026

1. Scope

This Privacy Policy explains how SkyMesh Local™ collects, uses, discloses, and safeguards information when you use our marketplace platform as a consumer, merchant, or flight operator.

2. Information we collect

Account data: name, email address, phone number, role (consumer, merchant, or flight operator), and authentication identifiers.

Merchant data: store name, business address, category, point-of-sale connection type, catalog listings, subscription tier, and platform routing fee records.

Location and drop-zone data: property coordinates, landing pad placement, hazard annotations, delivery addresses, and any images you upload of your landing area.

Flight and mission data: order status, sky lane and altitude assignments, flight windows, telemetry, weather snapshots, exception and reroute notes, one-time delivery passcodes, and proof-of-delivery snapshots.

Support and contact data: messages you submit through the contact form or the support assistant.

Technical data: device, browser, IP address, and usage events required to operate and secure the service.

3. How we use information

To operate the marketplace: publish eligible inventory, match orders to merchants and operators, plan and deconflict flight paths, and verify delivery.

To keep flights safe: evaluate drop-zone hazards, geofence restrictions, and weather thresholds before and during a mission.

To handle billing: process subscriptions and per-dispatch routing fees, and produce itemized merchant billing records.

To provide support, prevent fraud and abuse, maintain audit and chain-of-custody records, and comply with legal and aviation record-keeping obligations.

4. Sensitive location and imagery data

Drop-zone coordinates, hazard profiles, and proof-of-delivery imagery are treated as sensitive. They are shared only with the parties who need them to complete your delivery — the assigned flight operator, the fulfilling merchant where relevant, and our operations team — and are retained for the period required for safety review, dispute resolution, and regulatory audit.

Downward-camera snapshots are captured for the limited purpose of proving package placement. We do not use them for advertising or profiling.

5. How we share information

With marketplace participants strictly as needed to complete a transaction or flight.

With service providers acting on our instructions, including payment processing, hosting, communications, and analytics, under contractual confidentiality and security obligations.

With authorities or regulators where required by law, subpoena, or aviation incident reporting obligations, and with acquirers in a merger, financing, or asset sale.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

6. Legal bases and your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, port, or restrict processing of your personal data, to object to certain processing, and to withdraw consent. Submit requests through the Contact page; we will verify your identity before acting.

Where required, we process data on the basis of contract performance, legitimate interests in operating a safe logistics network, consent, or legal obligation.

7. Retention

We retain account and transaction records for as long as your account is active and thereafter for the period needed to satisfy legal, tax, insurance, and aviation audit requirements. Flight logs and chain-of-custody records may be retained longer than order data for compliance purposes.

8. Security

We use encryption in transit, role-based access controls, row-level data isolation, and least-privilege service credentials. No system is perfectly secure; we ask you to protect your credentials and report suspected compromise immediately.

9. Children

The Platform is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. Deliveries must be received by an adult account holder or their authorized designee.

10. Changes and contact

We will post updates to this policy here with a new effective date. Privacy questions and data requests can be submitted through the SkyMesh Local Contact page.
