Why McKinney restaurants lose money on delivery today
- • Aggregator commissions consume the entire delivery margin
- • Food quality degrades in a 40-minute ground route
- • Customer data belongs to the app, not the restaurant
McKinney sits on the US-380 / SH-5 north corridor, in Collin County. Ground routes fight that corridor every trip; a drone flies straight over it.
Drone-eligible payloads
- • Single and double entrées
- • Coffee and cold drinks
- • Bakery and dessert orders
- • Sushi and salads
- • Family sides
